The Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School, the awarding authority, invites sealed bids for the PVPA Renovations, located at 15 Mulligan Drive, South Hadley, MA 01075. General scope of work for this project includes interior improvements to the third floor of the PVPA building, placing three new meeting rooms within an existing storage room. Work includes associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection work. Add alternate is office renovations at the second floor of the school building. The base bid estimate for the proposed work is $190,000.
Every General Bidder must be certified by the Department of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) as General Contractor and must submit with his/her bid, DCAMM Certification and Update Statement. All Filed Sub-bidders must also be properly certified by DCAMM. Sealed Bids and Sub-Bids will be received at PVPA, c/o Marcy Connor, CFO, 15 Mulligan Drive, South Hadley, MA 01075; for: PVPA RENOVATIONS, SUB-BIDS: July 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM and GENERAL BIDS: July 22, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
Wage rates as determined by the Massachusetts Commissioners of the Department of Labor and Industries apply to this project. Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with the General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M, Chapter 30B, and Chapter 149 Section 44A through 44J as most recently amended, and other applicable laws. Filed sub-bids shall be for: HVAC and Electrical.
